For everyone who wants to strengthen their resilience through movement, relaxation and many practical “life hacks”.
Resilience is a key competence for mental health and professional stability, and in today's world of constant change, high information density and growing uncertainty it is becoming ever more important. In this course you will experience a dynamic learning process. We deliberately combine active yoga sessions, relaxing and strengthening Yin Yoga, practically proven knowledge and everyday methods to help you build your stress tolerance and your resilience.
You will learn what significance resilience has in social and professional contexts and develop your own strategies to move through your (professional) everyday life with greater strength. To make this week a lasting experience for all the senses, we have deliberately chosen a beautiful place that supports your regeneration and your ability to concentrate.
Always very close to the current topics and challenges of the participants, we shape together a week in which you learn a great deal about yourself, about the connection between body and mind, and about your personal challenges and how best to approach them.
The course offers a mix of different yoga styles (Flow and Yin) and mental training with elements from the Zürich Resource Model, NLP, systemic coaching according to Dr. Gunther Schmidt and much more.
Learning objectives of the event: The overarching goal of the event is to empower participants to lead their lives in a resilient and active way in their working and family life, to minimise feelings of powerlessness and resignation, and thereby to have a constructive and positive influence on the community around them and on society. They learn how to strengthen their inner balance and how to pick themselves up again and again, especially in turbulent times.
After the week, they can deal with stress in their professional and private lives more calmly, take many practical “life hacks” for everyday life with them, and have ideas for how to relax through daily movement sessions.
To this end, participants learn:

Recognised as educational leave (Bildungsurlaub) in Berlin, Hamburg, Hesse, Lower Saxony, Rhineland-Palatinate, Saarland, Schleswig-Holstein and Thuringia. Recognition as educational leave in Brandenburg has been applied for, but it usually only arrives at the earliest 3 months before the course starts. Baden-Württemberg, North Rhine-Westphalia, Bremen and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern unfortunately have conditions that make recognition of our courses impossible. If you come from Saxony-Anhalt, please get in touch. Then we will submit the application.
Professional value: The seminar is recognised as professional education. For this reason, some employers want to know what professional benefit the seminar offers. Why could the seminar be relevant for you professionally? Here are some ideas for your argument towards your employer.
Resilience as the key to clarity, energy and success: In a working world full of speed, complexity and constant change, resilience is an essential competence. In this training you strengthen your inner stability, stay focused and act with clarity even under pressure, in a way that is practical and effective.
Think clearly, react flexibly: You learn to steer your perception consciously and to remain calm and solution-oriented in challenging situations.
Healthy and capable through good habits: You establish simple routines for movement, thinking and recovery that strengthen your energy and concentration.
Understand and manage emotions: You develop greater emotional intelligence and stay calmer, including in conflicts or under stress.
Communicate better, set clearer boundaries: You strengthen your social competence, learn to say no respectfully and present yourself more confidently, including in a team.
Activate your motivation from within: You gain more influence over your inner experience and stay engaged even when things get difficult.
Understand your body and nervous system better: You learn how breathing and movement can help you deliberately regulate your stress level and find balance.
Start the day focused: Vinyasa Flow in the morning brings energy, clarity and direction to your working day.
Wind down and regenerate in the evening: Yin Yoga helps you specifically activate the parasympathetic system, for better sleep, more calm and greater resilience.
Build your resilience step by step: You discover small changes that have a great effect on how you think, feel and act.
Feel your self-efficacy: You experience how you can deliberately influence your state, which strengthens your trust in yourself and your abilities.
Your investment: 799 EUR, plus accommodation, travel costs and a 245 EUR conference fee for the week. This includes use of the seminar room, a very tasty breakfast every day, the morning coffee break, the equally delicious lunch, and one shared dinner.
About the seminar venue: The course takes place at the beautiful Seminarzentrum Levinthos, right by the sea. You can also stay there. If all apartments in the seminar centre are booked, the Filoxenia across the street offers further accommodation within walking distance.
The village of Lentas: Lentas is a small, picturesque village on the south coast of Crete. The quiet village owes its name to the unusual shape of the rock formation of an offshore headland: seen from the sea, it looks like a huge reclining lion, “Lenta” in ancient Greek. In the village there are several family-run tavernas open towards the beach, as well as various small hotels and guesthouses. “Mass tourism” is definitely a foreign concept here. Lentas is still very peaceful, and time here moves considerably more slowly than anywhere else on the island.
On the other side of the “lion”, the offshore headland, lies the even smaller village of Dyskos, where wild camping on the beach is still tolerated to this day. There are also a few tavernas and some accommodation options here.
Arrival: Because Lentas is a popular destination for independent travellers, someone had the clever idea years ago of setting up a website where arriving guests can register to share a taxi. There are also plenty of inexpensive car rental companies on Crete. If you would like to rent a car, it is best to pick it up directly at the airport.
